What is the Solar Dermatitis and how treat that ?

What is dermatitis due to drug-induced photosensitivity?
Phototoxic dermatitis may be caused by the action of sunlight on skin exposed to photosensitizing substances. Requires less solar radiation dose sunburn normal because the skin is sensitized by certain substances.Some are specific to the agency and other external (exogenous) as tar applied to the skin or some medications taken by mouth. Some substances such as perfume, can make the skin more sensitive to sunlight and certain drugs such as tetracyclines (antibiotics) and phenothiazines (antipsychotics) may also produce this effect. Clinical symptoms and treatment will be similar to sunburn and protection.

Photoallergic dermatoses occurs when there is a specific allergy to a substance, and originates from a skin lesion after exposure of skin to UV radiation. It can produce patient awareness through skin contact, or after oral administration of a drug, as some diuretics or sulfonamides. Photoallergic dermatitis can be prevented by eliminating contact with the substances that cause it. You should consult with your doctor before going on vacation.
